See the exact Stripe access before you sign up
ChurnWin uses a Stripe restricted key with three read permissions. Review every scope, why it is needed, and how to remove access before creating an account.
Restricted key setup checklist
Never paste your Stripe key on this public setup page.
Only enter it in ChurnWin's authenticated onboarding. Keep it out of chat, support tickets, screenshots, analytics, and source code.
Three things to do in your Stripe Dashboard:
1. Start a restricted key
- Open your Stripe API keys page and click Create restricted key.
- Choose “Providing this key to another website”, then Continue.
- Name it ChurnWin with URL https://churnwin.com .
2. Set exactly these permissions
Tick “Customise permissions for this key”, then set only:
Accounts (under Connect) → Read
Shows the connected Stripe account name and icon.
Customers (under Core) → Read
Lets ChurnWin match subscription health to customer records.
Subscriptions (under Billing) → Read
Lets ChurnWin identify active, cancelled, and payment-risk subscriptions.
- Everything else stays None.
3. Create the key and keep it private
Stripe shows the value once. Copy the whole restricted key and enter it only in the authenticated ChurnWin connection form.
Read only
No payment writes
Revoke any time
Ready after reviewing the boundary?
Create your account, start the 14-day trial, then use this same checklist inside the authenticated connection step. Setup is optional and resumable.
